Why do we gravitate to one color over another? This newsletter is not going to answer that question but it’s an interesting inquiry. One of my favorite installations is the annual Spectrum Gestalt at bG Gallery and it opens tomorrow – Saturday, July 20 with a reception from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. bG Gallery is located at Bergamot Station, 2525 Michigan Ave., Santa Monica, CA.

My artwork, Navigating, is included in the exhibition and it captures my experience of driving from one LA gallery to another gallery during Fall season last year. (Note: You can find it in the blue section.) The exhibition features over 100 artists, each contributing to the immersive experience of color with their unique perspectives and artistic styles. From paintings and detailed drawings to tactile works of embroidery and sculpture, it’s a fun and lively show. It’s up through August 5, 2024 with additional events:
